Vanilla Storm Abstract

This untraditional representation is achieved through the use of cold wax paste. The artist combines oil paint pigments with the wax paste and spreads it on the canvas with a palette knife using the cross-hatching technique, spawning a highly textural experience. She creates perspective by layering darker pigments underneath, allowing it to shine through the top layers. The dominant colours used are Raw Umber, Naples Yellow Deep, and Quinacridone Red.
